If you plan to travel by car to Rotterdam, it is important to know that parking along the streets requires payment with a (prepaid) chip card. At various locations in the city centre and at major attractions, parking meters also accept payment with credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). Alternatively, there are many car parks in the centre of Rotterdam that accept payment with a bank pass, a credit card or cash. We recommend parking outside the city centre at one of the Park & Rides but if you prefer to have the car close by there are several carparks near the venue.
P+R (free)
The cheapest and easiest way to park your car is a Park+Ride lot at the edge of the city. Use the free (secure) parking facilities at these locations and take public transport into the city.
