We are very happy to announce the second ClogCon Cup! A Blood Bowl tournament that is closely affiliated with ClogCon. We invite you to take a step on the Pitch and Kick, Dodge or Smack your way across the field in order to win this awesome tournament (if you dare at least). The tournament will be free for all ClogCon 3-day ticket holders. Furthermore the ClogCon Cup will also be open to players who have bought the one-day blood bowl ticket.
 

Blood Bowl ticket Cost:

20 euros. This includes: Lunch buffet, and entry to ClogCon Cup on Sunday 28th of October
*Warmachine tournaments are not included in this ticket
 

Schedule:

The registration will start at 09:00.  Each game will be allocated to 2 hours and 15 minutes with a 15 minute break. This will result in the following schedule:
09:00 Registration
10:00 – 12u00 Round 1
Lunch
13:00 – 15u00 Round 2
15:30 – 17u30 Round 3
18:00 Prize ceremony
18:30 – 00:00 Hang out and play games till closing time

Basics:

Resurrection tournament format.

NAF tournament rules will be used. (Found here)

Illegal procedure is not used.

 

Team creation:

Each coach builds their team with a treasury consisting of 1.250.000 gold crowns.

No inducements are available to any teams with the following exceptions:

Goblins may buy 0-3 bribes (50k each)and Halflings may buy 0-1 master chef (100k).

Skills must be bought from this treasury as well, at the regular cost. (20k for normals, 30k for doubles. No stat upgrades.)

 

The following restrictions to skill allocations apply:

  • No more than 3 of the same skill for the entire team
  • No more than 2 regular skills per player
  • No stacking of a double with a regular skill

 

These basics are modified by the following tiers:

Tier 1 – Wood Elf, Undead, Lizardmen, Skaven, Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf, Orcs, Dark Elf, Norse, Amazon, Bretonnian

  • No modification

Tier 2 – Chaos, Chaos Pact, Human, Khemri, Slann, Necromantic, High Elf, Elf, Nurgle, Vampire, Underworld, Khorne

  • An additional 40.000 gold crowns to spend

 

Tier 3 – Halfling, Goblin, Ogre

  • An additional 40.000 gold crowns to spend
  • Stacking of a double with a regular skill is allowed

 

Draw

Draw for round 1 will be random. Draws for subsequent rounds will use the swiss system

 

Tournament scoring

3 points for a win

1 point for a draw

0 points for a loss

 

Tiebreakers in the following order:

net TD+net cas – net TD’s – net cas – TD’s made – cas made

A Blood Bowl board. (We can provide some if you’re unable to bring one)

While there will obviously be a trophy for first place, more is better… but those will largely depend on the number of participants. So sign up, bring your friends and keep watching this space!
